How do you even respond to that? "In just a few minutes we are going to open up a sustained bombing campaign on your house" "ummm....could you not?" "Well are you going to leave?" "If I say no and livestream me and my family having breakfast when you decide to drop military ordinance through our tea-room will it really make a difference?"

Came across this video today of Palestine in the year 1896.

A brief and fascinating glimpse into a time when people of different faiths and ethnicity in the region could live alongside each other in relative peace.

Got a theory on this - closer Caucasians reside to the equator, the slower their brains run. Speech slows down, thinking slows down, reasoning slows down...

Only "evidence" I have is Queensland and Florida, but running with it anyway.

Can confirm, i lived near the equator for a year and got a brain tumour, im also a wranger, the caucasians caucasian, so it probably affects us more.

"Gone troppo" - that's where it comes from. And can confirm, older white people seem to do this after too much time in the heat supplemented with inordinate amounts of beer.

I flew over the equator once. Nearly forgot how to breath.

Gaz always getting into trouble, what a legend.

Personally I'm waiting to see how First Dog on the Moon responds to yesterday's loss to the Bombers.

I'm waiting to see how the Bombers respond to having their entire season rendered null and void by ASADA.

Nothing complicated. It's simply sanitised terrorism. The analogy is perfectly apt.

Well it implies that the IDF is only targetting civilians, it implies that the IDF are the bad guys for giving only a small warning to civilians before it bombs what it thinks is a hamas shelter.

Historical precedence is that when a weaker army attacks a stronger army, the stronger army wipes the weaker army off the map, what surprises me is that the IDF has not done exactly this.

But the IDF is really super bad giving warnings before they bomb as oppposed to Hamas, who

"The charter states that "our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious" and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic state in Palestine, in place of Israel and the Palestinian Territories,[2] and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel.[3][4] "

Article 13 There is no negotiated settlement possible. Jihad is the only answer

Article 14 The liberation of Palestine is the personal duty of every Palestinian.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas_Covenant

Exist simply to be terrorists.

It implies no such thing. This is literally happening. Israel are literally wiping out entire neighbourhoods on suspicion at best, or for pure terror and genocide at worst.

As for the Hamas charter, have you ever read the Torah? The only difference between them is that the Jews insist on racial purity.

Yeah, Israel is the worst enemy of the Palestinians closely followed by Hamas. Israel knows how easy it is to drive people into the arms of those promising revenge and so hard for any Palestinian leader to remain moderate and peaceful in the face of carefully planned inhumanity.

It implies no such thing.

Certainly does, calling to warn us to run! How absurd! And here I was having a nice dinner in front of the telly and now the big bad jews are going to bomb the place in 10 minutes, or maybe it's a really subtle cartoon about war and peace and it's going over my low IQ head.

This is literally happening.

The IDF goes out of its way to avoid targeting civilians, it makes no sense why they would be in the position they're in if they felt no desire or consequence with regard to civilians, Hamas with it's military has no regard for civilians, it will kill them, gut them, and take the land, if Israel was to act the same way as Hamas, Palestine would look like 10 minutes after Hiroshima.

Israel are literally wiping out entire neighbourhoods on suspicion at best

I wouldn't classify as direct hits on buildings as 'entire neighbourhoods', and I can't see how the Torah has any relevance here at all, but I can see how you would think that.

When I see Hamas firing rockets out of a hospital at Israel civilians:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM1F9oP80kc

I think they're terrorists doing what terrorists do, but there are people who read a headline on news.com.au about the IDF bombing a hospital and chime in with their 2c.

There's even sympathy from fellow readers:

"The Palestinians have every right to fight back against the Israeli military, who are the occupying force and who have a responsibility to withdraw from all of their illegally occupied and, in some cases, annexed territories."

If NZ had a terrorist organisation

Hamas is designated as a terrorist organization by Israel and a number of Western and non-Western governments; The United States,[10] Canada,[11] the European Union,[12][13] Jordan,[14] Egypt[15] and Japan classify Hamas as a terrorist organization.[16]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas

OK if NZ had an organisation that half the world figured was funding and aiding terrorists, and those terrorists fired rockets at Sydney to the point that

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDj9u8eJoUU

Australia had to implement a defence system to intercept them, how long do you think we'd sit back and take it?

We wouldn't, if a single rocket came from NZ we'd be over there quicker than you could blink, but the big bad jews apparently have no regard for civilians, and just fire rockets at will at anything, and the whole calling civilians, dropping leaflets, direct targeting buildings with terrorists in them is all a facade... a facade they put up to their own detriment.
