Any feedback on the Carl Friedrik City-Hopper vs. the Parker Clay Atlas for a 35 yo guy?

Hi all,

It's my 35th bday soon and I'm looking to buy a new nice backpack I would use on a daily basis and for travel (budget of up to $700). Thoughts about these two?
I saw a bunch of comments that the City-Hopper Nylon version is preferred over the leather one (my first thought was to go for the leather one).

For the Parker Clay, can't really find any reviews.. which is concerning.
