Question Backpack Recommendations?
Hi,
I'm on the lookout for a high quality, relatively affordable backpack for general office and casual use. Something that could be taken to work in an office setting, but also can be taken to a theme park if needed. Is there such a backpack? I was eyeing some North Face ones, and some other brands that can fit my 32oz Hydroflask. something just nice and light with or without a laptop compartment. Any recommendations?

Wheeled backpack recommendations for work?
Hello :)
Does anyone have any wheeled backpack recommendations to use for work? Please keep it to things which are available to buy in the UK.
Tired of having to carry my things around on my back for hours after work when I am doing other things.
Almost considering taking my hand luggage to work when I know I'm going to be doing other things after but it feels weird to do so. 😭
Thanks in advance.

Best backpacks for college for a female for laptops& organization, that will last and are comfortable?
Need advice for a quality, long lasting backpacks that can hold a 15-17 inch laptop, and that will protect said laptop from an occassional drop on the floor. I also need a pack that has multiple pocketa for organization. I hate single compartment bags. I should also mention a 5'2" average build female. Ive looked at patagonia refugios 26 and 30l (although I think i like organization of 30 l better) but could be bulky on me. I looked at osprey proxima and flare- i like both i preferred the proxima but thought the side flaps might get annoying. And I looked at north face reacon. Any suggestions out there? Open to any an all ideas. I would prefer to spend around or less than $100 US. Thanks.

Question Potentially seeking a unicorn?
I asked this in ManyBaggers without much luck - thought I'd try here as you're more of an everyday bag community.
So I'm in the market for a bag that can go in a bigger bag to carry around as a daypack, probably 8-16l ish, depending on what it is. I love my Atom sling but it's on its last legs and is sometimes just slightly too small. My Kavu rope swing is too shallow and heavy. I do love my Baggu Medium Crescent but it's not super practical for all day. This is mostly for mooching around town, walks as opposed to serious hikes, something I can chuck all my day to day bits in and go.
Here are my criteria: - Budget is about £150 but happy to go up for the right bag. Based in UK so no Tom Bihn or Eddie Bauer. - Lightweight, but not necessarily ultralight. Able to roll up or go flat(ish) inside a Daylite 45 duffel. - Able to carry a standard water bottle, ideally on an outside pocket but not necessary. - If it has pockets, I like pockets with actual depth, if that makes sense? Like attached pouches rather than an extra zip that just pushes into the main compartment. No extra padding for laptop storage etc. - Pockets or pouches on the straps for phone/wallet access are a huge plus, or points for attaching accessory holders. - Not top opening. As much of a clamshell or flap opening as possible, but at least more than half zip. - Backpack or sling. Easy to get to. I like a backpacky sling rather than a crossbody style sling like the Bellroy Venture. - Ideally no taller than 45cm, I'm little. - Less important, but ideally not black, navy or beige. I don't like technical/military or like ultra sleek type aesthetics.
Some bags I've been considering:
Cotopaxi Tasra - the old version would be perfect, but I'm worried the new version would be too awkward to get into with the little half zip.
Osprey Transporter sling/Cotopaxi Chasqui - possibly too much in the way of organisation to be practical. Might get uncomfy on one shoulder given the size.
Osprey Daylite - I don't love the front pocket, but it's an ideal size, and I've had good experiences with Osprey. I have a Daylite Plus but it's a bit big for day to day, and the laptop compartment takes up so much room. That aside it's super comfy to carry and I like the bottle pockets a lot. I also like the Daylite sling but it's probably on the small side for what I'm after.
Jansport Half Pint - very cute but maybe not that useful? Kinda bulky maybe.
Deuter Compact 12+3 or other versions - maybe overkill? I like the hip belt pockets but I probably wouldn't need them.
Cotopaxi Elqui 18/MR Gallagator 10/15 - I feel like I will hate the openings on these but the strap pockets look so good.
Anyone wanna weigh in? Anything I've missed off here? I will gratefully appreciate any experiences or tips!

Alternative to Millican
I'm looking for a replacement for my 32L, Fraser the rucksack from Millican.
It has truly been the best bag I ever owned, and my next I've would also have been a Millican if they were available in larger size
Is there something similar available? A good backpack that is simple and don't have more zippers then necessary.

Looking for gym/school backpack. Something similar to one on the photo
I like the way birdsec 25 or herschel kaslo 20l look(clean minimalistic). I need to have 2 big pockets one for books and notebooks the other one for gym clothes and shord. Would appreciate some airflow in it but it’s not the most important. My budget is under 80$.

Question Backpack recs
Guys u need a new bag. I am a big lad and need decent wide straps. I have gone through my decent amounts of bags. Needs to be decent sized inside and I hate bags with the separate laptop sleeve. I loved my north face borialis but it died a sad death to the washing machine. Please help a man out!
Currently got a carharrt bag kickflip bag, love it but the straps just aren’t long enough and it’s bothering my armpits.
Help a guy out!

Question Anyone have experience with One:Item bags?
Someone posted the other day with a question about lesser known bag companies. One of the replies was this company. They have 3 bags and the bags look really interesting but certainly not cheap. Has anyone owned or even interacted with these bags?

Anyone using the Sandqvist Stream Slim Rolltop L (16")?
I’m looking at the Sandqvist Stream Slim Rolltop L as my next work backpack, but I can’t find much first-hand feedback on it.
I have a 16" work laptop so looking for something that can fit that and some other bits, and that is comfy enough for commuting.
Also been looking at the Rains rolltop rucksack and the Sandqvist everyday rucksack
Any advice appreciated!

Eastpack UP ROLL - opinions?
Hey! I'm looking for a backpack that can withstand rain, and I stumbled across the Eastpack UP ROLL. The bag is made entirely of poliester. The reviews on the website, however, say it's not really waterproof, as it somewhat leaks inside. Bearing this in mind, I was looking for some more opinions but I can't find anything else.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Does it really leak water inside, and if so, with light or heavy rain?
Thanks :)

Question ID on model (read below)
TL;DR- had bag for years, looking for model to buy daypacks/removables, lacking confidence in my own research. My best guess is the Flying Scottsman II. Please correct me if I’m wrong🥲
Hey all, obviously this is an MEI built bag, and they unfortunately no longer make bags. I use this pack for just about everything (camping, vacation, etc) and have noticed that I’m missing a few attachments. It was my dad’s, (he gave it to me like 10 years ago when I was in Boy Scouts and it’s served me for 13 years) so I’m sure some things were misplaced way before I was born or whatever. I’m looking for the main bags model to maybe try and find some of the extra attachments, that way I can organize a bit better for my trips. Google photos has been no help, and my best guess is that it’s a Flying Scottsman II. However some outside insight might be useful before I start looking for the wrong day packs, bags, etc. thanks all, any information about this bag and MEI as a whole is appreciated.
(If I answered my own ID and came here lacking confidence, you have full permission to make fun of me in the comments🤣)

In search of perfect school backpack
I’m looking for the perfect backpack for back to school that will fit a 13 inch MacBook along with 13 inch iPad in their own compartments. I also would like it to fit a nalogene wide mouthed water bottle, along with room for pencils and pens, and notebooks and folders. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
