Man, that saying has just never gotten any less weird to me as the years have gone on. Not from when I first heard it, not from when I've had multiple relatives pass away with various forms of it.... and not now. Cancer is just...us. Literally just us. Not a parasite, not a bacteria, not a virus,etc,etc. Just us. People make it out to be this evil entity or something when it's anything but.
