For some reason my dad always asked me, on the way in to Mariners games, if I wanted Kettle Corn. Not like, "hey what do you want?", but specifically kettle corn. So of course I said yes even though I might have wanted a hot dog or something.

He never ate any of the kettle corn. He just wanted to build my addiction to it and have him/Mariners associated. I fucking love kettle corn in my 30s. Miss you pops.

Is your child mildly tongue tied? I only ask this as sometimes frequent and minor choking can be associated to that and also not a terrible idea to be evaluated by an ENT. I am totally aware this could be a slight exaggeration, but if it isn’t, ENTs can do a check just to make sure esophagus, nose, etc. are all in alignment.
