Food, Shopping & Services Best Chilaquiles?

I always like hearing what people recommend in these posts! My partner brought home leftovers from Buttercup in Oakland, and dang these were good even as pan fried leftovers!

yes, the cooks at Anna's have hacked tortilla chip/tostada technology and figured out a way of making infinitely crispy chilaquiles

Do they stay crispy the whole meal?

they keep some texture for the whole meal, like they don't turn mushy... but like the balance of crispy and soggy is a part of the allure of chilaquiles.

Are they crispy and not soggy?

They are the perfect texture. The eggs are super fluffy too. And it comes with avocado. The sauce has a really nice flavor but I always add some extra spicy salsa that’s available.

Not long ago I moved to the bay so, my "go to" list it's still in the works. However, there's a place in San Jose, called "iJava Café". I ordered their Chilaquiles and I must say I'd loved them. The serving is quite big so, you may think of sharing tho.

Nido in Oakland used to have some bomb chilaquiles. Not sure if they still serve them.

Any in Concord?

BTW, as a person with French Canadian roots it's always struck me how our national dish, poutine, is sort of spirtual half sib of chilequiles....
