Пытанне / Question Shipping from Minsk to the US
Hi there. I live in the US and bought something from a maker in Minsk. However, they just told me the the post office said there are new restrictions on sending packages to the United States - meaning they can't mail it anymore.
We're trying to figure something out. Does anyone know of a carrier in Minsk that will still ship packages to the US?
They did offer a refund, but I'd prefer the item.
Thanks!

Carriers all over Europe stopped shipping to the U.S. because of uncertainty over tariffs:

Mind me asking how did you manage to pay for the product in the first place? Belarus is supposed to be under sanctions…

Well crap. We used webpay. I wonder if they could send the item to another country and then to the US? Honestly, no idea how all this works - thanks!

You could send it for pickup in Canada, then pick it up if you are near the border

Honestly not a bad idea. I would just need to find a service that it could be delivered to.

no service needed. Just have it sent general delivery to the nearest post office. Or to a UPS store or to https://p.pudopoint.com/en/map#

This strange feeling when the restriction is not on shipments from Belarus but rather on shipments to the US. Verily the end of the world is nigh.
