Tournament Tuesday!

Tournament Tuesday is an open forum for anyone to ask any question, no matter how simple, about tournaments in general. Some common topics include but are not limited to:

  • Game planning
  • Preparation (diet, weight cutting, sleep, etc...)
  • Tournament video critiques
  • Discussion of rulesets for a tournament organization

Yes, more matches equals more experience and you'll only have to drive there once either way. The amount of matches you have can vary wildly between bracket size and tournament format

General advice: Relax, I've always burned through most of my energy within 30s just by being very tense/full of adrenaline.
Have a gameplan: Prepare a small amount of A-game techniques you want to do. Less thinking and more decisive action during the match.

All the comps I've attended were way less than twice as expensive for two classes. But that part is your choice, I only ever attend "cheap" comps
