It's not easy to get to the point where you can do it reliably and make it look good enough to impress people. But realistically speaking you can set this up in about 5 minutes after buying the kit. It's just invisible thread. Basically super thin nylon or silk. The stick has 2 (or a few more) tied between the tip and the carpet. It has knots in it where the balancing stick can rest. The ball is just an invisible thread from his head somewhere, often the ears (at 0:19 he's attaching the other end of the thread to the ball by moving some sticky tape basically from his ear to the ball). I was doing the trick with the ball during recess in elementary school.

It's a kit. This has been posted a couple times and others have said it's a kit you can buy and a technique you have to learn. I've read it's not easy
