Why does it look, frame by frame, as if there is a second projectile hitting the cup. Not say that is the case, just that potential artifacts of the vid make it look like that

Edit: in fact it looks like the wooden projectile flies right through the in tact cuppa.

Yeah it's two overlapping videos of the mug. The one from this "gun" is just flying past what should be the mug but it's not there on its version. Then the actual thing that blows the mug up is played over the same video and comes just above the projectile and framed perfectly to match the speed.. They just didn't edit it properly to make the diy one disappear at the cup so it kept going before disappearing in the cup's debris.

To tell the truth this is possible..my family had a bamboo forest on there property, and it is some tough shit. The way that person shows it is bull shit though..in reality it works..but it just bounces off anything that's not skin. It actually will be a pain in the ass to remove from a human being. That's why they used to put poison on it. Its not meant to kill fast. Its meant to slowly make you hate yourself

This is fake on multiple levels outside of the cut to the mug breaking. There's another cut/edit when he places the projectile inside the tube, it just totally disappears; its diameter would have made its base visible yet its just not there; moreover the trigger/firing mechanism has no pin or anything to put any kind of force on the projectile once it's inside the bamboo and certainly not enough to get that kind of energy.

The whole thing is faker than a three-dollar bill.
