New to this group but LONG time Bon Iver fan. I was just on Stubhub looking for nearby events (im in SD), and Friday's Song Exploder came up. I was ready to buy a ticket and drive to LA friday and was trying to figure out who the opener is/what time Bon Iver might go on.... but then my research revealed is Song Exploder a podcast and this is a live podcast recording? Im so confused haha is this not a normal show? TY and dont come at me please Im new here Thank you!

Feel like this question has likely been asked before, but what are the sounds at 1:44 and 1:56 in 21 Moon Water? To me the former sounds like maybe a reversed and pitched vocal sample, and the latter some kind of animal cry (maybe like a mountain lion or a fox?) but I'm honestly not sure

Right now Heroin(e) and Bones by DeYarmond Edison are really getting me. The build-up in Bones to "I'm so far from not caring" kills me. That line has been really impactful over the past couple weeks.

They are legitimate rock songs. Know there are certain songs on BI, BI that have a rock feel, but would die for more songs that sound exactly like these two with heavier use of electric guitar and drums.
