Running a carb off of the stock fuel pump?
Can you use the stock fuel pump to run a carburetor? I built a 351 Windsor and swapped the efi intake for a carbureted one, but I’m keeping the stock fuel pump (sending unit is inside the tank). Is the pump going to give too much pressure to the carb?

Door bushings
I have a 1991 f250 2wd with the 7.3 and I am trying to find door pin bushings and I've already replace the 4 times in the last year with the regular brass/ copper ones. I was wonder if yall fine fellers might know where I could find steel bushing or something that will last. Thanks

Heater/AC question
Hello all, I recently just got a 1988 4.9 in a trade… I have to say I love the truck dearly. I have run into a bit of an issue that I’m thinking you all may be able to help me with. The truck only blows in heat and through the dash. Doing some online research I found that it’s the culprit of the white line popping off the actuator under the hood or being deteriorated. I found the white line that has popped off.. it was cut and laying right next to a black vacuum line as well. No suction goes through the white line. Is this due to the black line not being connected as well? Where does this black line go too? The section of white and black vacuum tubes come with the wire bundle right next to the heater core. Any and all help would be much appreciated. I can upload photos for any of you needing it. Thank you in advance.

Vibrations while driving
I’ve got a good old 1990 f250 with a 351w and a zf 5speed manual. I blew my driveshaft out about a month ago and replaced it with a junkyard driveshaft. Ever since I’ve had a vibration. It used to be at about 75-80 but now it has moved to 35-45. Once I get over about 43 it just stops vibrating like a switch gets flicked. I was assuming I had bad u joint but they don’t wiggle and they are all new. I’m assuming it’s the carrier bearing because it is old and loose and the rubber is cracked. Anyone dealt with this or have any suggestions?

Ghost Drain plug
I have a s5-42 ZF5 Transmission and I lost the drain plug on the bottom of the case. I've got to every shop and they all say the tranny didn't come stock with a drain plug there. If anyone knows where and what size the plug is I'd appreciate your knowledge

2wd to 4wd swap
Any major reason people piss on the idea of converting a good 2wd truck to 4x4? I have a whole parts truck plus a good hoard of parts and my transmission needs replaced anyway. It's not going to be an off-road toy but I live in an area that has harsh winters and I do drive some dirt roads and although I haven't gotten stuck yet I like 4x4. The only transmissions I have in stock are 4x4 as well. I've measured it all out and it looks like the front axle is a direct bolt in deal all aside from the center pivot brackets. The rear axle is gonna be a little more work but only because I'm going to use 3in springs so I need new shackle mounts. Am I missing something major? Most of this work is in areas that need repairs anyway so why wouldn't I just keep my truck and go 4x4 as opposed to spending 3k+ on a decent 4x4 in my area just to have to redo a lot of work I just did to my rig for maintenance and mods. Even if I spend 1k in parts I'm still money ahead and I have new parts to show for it. Why so much hate on these swaps?
