Moderator Mandated Bonding Free Talk Friday!

Hey everyone!

Noticed things have been especially dour here in the last few days (imagine that?). Thought we could use some off-topic conversation to remind ourselves that life outside of cancer exists. Read any good books recently? Seen any good movies? How's the weather out there today?

It’s actually kind of cold here today, and I am very thankful. It’s been super hot, and I’ve been really overwhelmed about it (I have pretty bad lymphedema, and the heat makes it so much worse). I do have cancer though after all, so of course I do need to go for a blood transfusion today. But I’m kind of hype to be able to wear sweatpants, a beanie, and a long sleeve shirt. And be all comfy cozy.

It’s kind of gloomy out here today but I’m about to get a PET scan so we shall see how this goes ☺️

It is sunny here, coffee is good, and I’m just enjoying my morning time the way I have always enjoyed, alone and semi-quiet. Hearing only road and life noises and the today show! ❤️

It’s hot in Arizona today but I’ve got my dogs, a good book and the new season of The Gilded Age to look forward to. Happy weekend everyone!!
