It seems like that's being telegraphed so I suspect it will happen.

It's a big job to be a team captain - there's a lot that goes into it in terms of interfacing with coaches/social responsibilities etc. that fans don't see. I believe from having covered him earlier in his career, that Horvat would be an excellent captain.

That said, I don't know the players and the organizational/locker room dynamics well enough after just a week back on the job to really comment on whether it's a mistake.
