It's for free, but they take donations! They also sell merch and food.

I love going here!

How does one arrange it? Every time I’ve been to Ysterplaat its been almost impossible to get past the booms at the entrance gate

According to a quick google search, this weekend there seems to be an open day type thing at the museum.

Though keep in mind Ysterplaat is still an operational base. So make sure you're trying the right enterance.

We pretty much have another airforce museum across the runway in the private hangars with a hawker hunter, a buccaneer and 2X L-29s

I spy a British buccaneer in the back there, additionally what’s the plane in the right of the image? Can only see the wing

Avro Shackleton. Last airworthy one but training a crew to fly it again would use up its last hours so it just does engine runs.

That's not a museum, that is our active airforce.
