NYE in Cape Town

Hi all. Coming down to Cape Town for New Years Eve at the start of a 2 week trip doing the Garden Route. Looking for activty and restaursnt ideas for NYE. We already have La Colombe booked for lunch so looking for somewhere more casual, vibey, and fun to celebrate and party.

We're in our early 30s, love food and drink, will party but not all night long and prefer cheesy music / karaoke / live bands, to more intense vibes.

Any suggestions welcome! I saw there was some NYE festival but that it has potential unsavoury links to gangs? Thanks in advance
