Are those bits of freeze dried apple? That's neat.

General Mills probably skimped on the granola to distinguish it from Posts' product or their short-lived Honey Nut Clusters from the 90's.

Given the box art, I didn't expect so much more dried apple than granola. You really have to dig for any little oat cluster; they contribute almost nothing to the taste.

So you were craving some granola when you opened the box. I would too based on the brand's flagship product. You would think the granola bar brand's cereal would taste like their granola bars.

I don't have any Nature Valley Apple Crisp Crunchy Granola Bars to compare it with, but this cereal is crunchy and apple-flavored enough to remind me of them.

Interesting! I have so many questions… What do you do with the rest of the cereal? How many boxes do you keep at home at any one time? Do you have an excel sheet to track all of this?

All of the cereal gets eaten. I usually have at least sixteen full boxes most of the time. I have text files to track which cereals were posted each Friday and my notes on each cereal, along with my larger list of everything I photograph.

It has a sweet cinnamon apple flavor and a good amount of dried apple pieces, but very few granola clusters.
