The peanut butter one was pretty awful I’m not going to lie. Incredibly chalky texture and taste. I’m positive anyone who says otherwise is paid advertising based on post/comment histories of positive comments I saw in the past that did initially lead me to try it.

For the price point especially it’s a no-go.

Longer rant:

Some protein added foods are good, and milk+cereal should make it good, but this tastes too strongly of synthetic sugar/PB with a chalky texture/taste to boot.

For a breakfast protein item, the premier protein pancakes are actually decent (15g protein, 210 calories). They taste like mcdonald’s pancakes, which isn’t perfect, but the texture/flavor are indistinguishable from other instant pancakes. My cheat is adding a tiny sliver of salted butter to it.

Frankly though, most protein packed prepared items have been just a chalky/bad tasting nightmare that tastes nothing like it should. Other bad offenders include those pop tart protein bars. Honestly just grab a protein shake if you want convenient protein, they have better macros and flavor anyway. The only bad experience with cheap/off brand shakes I’ve had is with Pure Protein.

Just had Premier pancakes this morning— like most of their stuff it’s pretty good
