Wooden Set identification Help

This set was found at my grandmothers house and we’re trying to figure out how old it is. I saw one knight that looked similar from the 1920’s, but my my mom thinks they’re from the 60’s. The box pictured has no other intact labels. Any ideas? I can add more pictures if needed

** IDENTIFIED. Thank you!**

I'd guess a vintage Lardy (French chess set manufacturer). The knights look right.

I think you’re correct! I found a listing for a 1940’s set with the exact same box! Thanks!

Lardy. I agree with your Mom, 1960s.

Looks like it was made in Sant Pere de Torelló, Catalonia.

Very similar to the "pulido" boxwood set.

Really? The knights look a little like indajesa-style Spanish knights but the queens are very different and the box says "made in France"?

I mean that they look similar.
