sorry, i dont know if this counts as a troubleshooting or if its a dumb question but i thought id ask . i just want to be able to see my chrome background image behind it but its in teh way and it annoys me

Is there a way to remove languages from translate language list (target language)? So before you answer, please read it again, I am not looking for auto translate specific languages into English. I am looking for an option to easily select a page being translated INTO English or Croatian, rarely into German.

Chrome is offering 100+ languages as translate target, I only speak 3 languages and would sometimes translate any language into one of those 3, but I always have to spend like 15 seconds scrolling and carefully clicking on list after I select "choose another language".

Another acceptable solution would be to group my 3 preferred ones on top, if it's not possible to remove the rest.

So i forgot my encrypted files in the Chome Extension Hide it Pro for years, i just learned i cant launch it anymore. Is there a way i can: 1. use a Chrome version and launch it, or 2: decrypt the files it hid? I still have access to the folder but need to decrypt.

So basically I was watching yt shorts on Chrome on my laptop and after watching few shorts its just blacked out like the audio of the shorts is still playing but the video isnt playing . whats the problem here? like it happens on both brave and chrome is it laptop fault or something else?

Hello everybody, im looking for a browser thats stable (i mean that doesnt sign you out randomly and refusing to login.) and lightweight (doesnt really need to be) im mostly a gamer so i dont use the browsers alot but mostly for emails and youtube and sometimes playing on the web. back in 2017 i was using chrome for such a long time but then i decided to switch to brave, its been great and very good but the problem is i recently started running into login problems and of the big ones is this

just now whenever i try to login on my outlook account it says "Too Many Requests" and some other websites thats not outlook also gave me the same text

Long story short, i want a browser thats decent, lightweight (not so much), stable, AND DOESNT SIGN YOU OUT RANDOMLY cause i dont wanna log in on my all accounts all over again..

(i checked clearing data on exit and all the settings that makes me signed out from all the sites) ill tell you what, i just cleared everything and i tried signing in and it still says "too many requests" fking hell.

wtf is going on with my chrome using high amounts of RAM,, ive only got three bloody tabs on and only three fllippin extentions, i did the math and the tabs only use about 743 mb of RAM NOT 1.2 gigs, anyone else having this problem?

I’m trying do download apk games on my Chromebook after upgrading from a much older one and I’m haveing issues trying to enable hardware acceleration and web gl I know that these games work just fine on the old Chromebook but the option to enable both of these options were missing

Only happening watching YT videos and i know turning off makes the problem go away, but when i turn off some websites just becomes laggy. I observed it is only happening when i use iGPU on my laptop. It has AMD CPU with iGPU (ryzen 5 8645hs 760M specifically), but when i switch to use only the dGPU which is an NVIDIA gpu the problem goes away even with acceleration on. Both driver and Chrome updated to the latest. I know using my dGPU solves the problem but i don't want to use in that mode all the time. Anyone got better idea?

I started getting this recently, and it happens randomly on some tabs, sometimes even on active ones. Refreshing the page makes it work again, but after a while it's happening again.
This issue seemed to start when I had many Roblox tabs open (i already closed them all), but now it even affects pages like Google Translate — almost every time it's page loading endlessly then showing error and then it opens normally, but after that it almost immediately showing "Aw, Snap" error.
I use Windows 10. My system and drivers are updated, and so is my Chrome.

Is there a Chrome extension that, like Google Translate, automatically translates entire web pages but uses AI (without requiring its own API key)?

Unfortunately, Google Translate does not have the same quality as translations done by AI.

Not sure how to describe this, but I always run Chrome full screen, and if I opened a new tab and pulled it out of its 'parent' then it would automatically spring into a new full screen window. Now this doesn't happen. Is there a way to make it work? I know I can create the tab, then right-click and select Move Tab to New Window, but this doesn't have the same 'feel'. Fussy I know, but I really liked being able to do that. Also, the reason I do it is I have a nosy student who likes to look at what other tabs I have open lol.

In a regular google window you're able to middle click, ctrl + left click, or right click and select "open link in new tab" when trying to open an image and its related images in a new tab. But, it doesn't seem to work in incognito mode. Anyone know any work arounds or fixes for this?

Okay, so I tried googling this / finding YouTube videos but I have no idea how to word it to find a fix online. Basically, any device that has my google account signed into on chrome has this problem. I’ll search something up in the search bar (not the top search bar) and no matter what I type, it redirects me to a different google page and then it’ll work from there. Can someone help me fix it so it doesn’t do that at all? I tried to upload a video for better explanation but the subreddit doesn’t seem to allow videos.

My google tab is automatically using yahoo instead of google, the new tab is labeled "chrome://newtab" is there anyway i can fix this?

Every time I open up Google Chrome, it closes nearly instantly for no reason at all. All the solutions I look up seem to need file explorer which doesn't work for me either. Does anybody know what to do? (This is windows 11 and chrome is up to date)

I’m having trouble with Chrome sync between my accounts. It might be related to using different OS and different browser versions.

For example:

• On macOS (M4) I’m using Google Chrome Dev
• On Windows 11 (Intel) with Google Chrome Dev or regular Google Chrome – bookmarks don’t sync, only extensions do.
• On Windows 10 with Google Chrome – sync doesn’t work at all, it looks like a clean browser with no data coming in.

Has anyone run into this issue? Is it because of the OS/browser version differences, or could it be something else?
