Troubleshooting Sound issue even with Earbuds

I have a chromebook, after starting it, the sound works properly during 20 seconds then it starts glitching, even with Bluetooth earbuds paired. I have the lastest update. What to do please?

Which latest update? Are you on the Stable channel? Which Chromebook hardware, and what type of BT earbuds?

Bluetooth is radio-based. So you imply that your sound glitches are not exclusive to Bluetooth, but happen through the speakers as well. So perhaps we can rule out the BT subsystem.

What sort of sounds are you playing? Have you tried different apps? Have you tried downloading a local file and playing it, without streaming or buffering? If your glitches pertain to buffering or the network, could you try with a wired Ethernet connection? Could you just quit using WiFi and use wired Ethernet, like God intended?

If you enable "Focus Mode" you can even select some built-in ambient sounds. These should be stable, if nothing else is.

Version 139.0.7258.137 official build Acer Chromebook 315 Okay I downloaded a mp4 video and yes the sound is working but not on google chrome streaming website.

I only watch movies from streaming website, everything was fine last day then suddenly started glitching, I have'nt changed anything since then. I was usually using the internal speaking, never paired Bluetooth earbud nor audio device. I really don't know from where the problem is coming from

And I don't have the focus mode on my computer

So the glitch only exists on a singular website you don’t want to name, or on any stream that comes over the network?

Do you run a VPN, or mobile data tethering, or anything out of the ordinary, in terms of networking?

Is this at home, at work/school, or in various locations like coffeehouses?

Any stream, I usually use different streaming website for watching movies.

I don't run any vpn, it's always with my phone internet data at home

But now Im rather sure that the problem is coming from the navigator because I saw a lot of people complaining if they have a lot of opened tabs, the sound will glitch, but I always have one tab opened at the time. I cannot download a new navigator because of the chinese firewall, but I never had problem before, so I don t think its wifi related, the websites aren t banned and working well on my phone

Okay, so yes, your mobile data is being tethered over WiFi and you’re left with some completely normal buffering.

Do not do this for streaming. If you intend to stream video/music all the time, use a wired Internet connection. I guarantee you will always have trouble with tethered mobile data, because it is not designed to give you big gobs of constantly downloading data. You are taking away resources from legitimate users in your neighborhood and on that cell tower.

Okay I actually switched from the previous website and it seems to work now. Thank you for helping me 👍
