New York Cider

Hello all. New to the group. Not sure if this is even appropriate for the group but I’m trying to get more into ciders. I’m visiting upstate NY for the weekend and was hoping to get some recommendations in high quality (non commercial) NY Ciders. Thank you.

Where in upstate? Hudson valley? Fingerlakes? capital?

Just south of Albany. But I’m not necessarily looking to visit the cider house, just looking for brands I can buy at a good store.

I’d say Indian Ladder Farms and Nine Pin are your best bets

by non commercial do you mean you are looking to purchase home made ciders or just looking for smaller scale producers?
