Selling my ~2013 Gaggia classic! Mild usage for a year or two when purchased and sat in a closet ever since. Was taken care of when used (descaling, etc). I ran water through it this week to make sure the boiler and pump works. It did not dispense water at first but priming the pump with a syringe fixed it instantly (I'm told this is a normal procedure if it sits for a while, but, you know, full disclosure)

This is a catch and release I obtained locally. It's a wonderful machine and has those classic E61 vibes.

I've added a pressure gauge to the Brew head for more accurate readings. You could always add a flow control kit to the top if you wanted. Just like the Bianca.

This thing is a beast. It's definitely a pro level machine in a smaller package. 65 lbs, dual boilers, rotary pump, all stainless steel frame, PID controlled (with the external PID controller included), and you can plumb it into your home's water supply fairly easily, I've discovered (as long as you have one nearby).

I'm offering up this machine at $2,000 fully shipped and insured to you in the continental us. It's going to take me a lot of packaging supplies to make sure this gets to you safely. I do have the original accessories, which it will come with as well.

Quality and Condition:

• ECM Casa V is a great high quality entry level machine. Single boiler, but very fast warm up times (~5 mins) and excellent build quality. Machine is in really great shape. I was expecting to own it forever, so I took very good care of it. It has always been used with filtered water (50ppm and 7ph) to minimize mineral scaling and leeching. Flushed regularly. It's in near-perfect shape.
• Eureka Mignon Silenzio is a nice stepless 50mm burr grinder, specifically made to be less noisy than other grinders in it's class. It definitely is quieter, but don't expect full silence. It is still an electric grinder with noticeable noise. It is in fair condition. Mechanically it is working perfectly, but I do not have the original plastic hopper. I got rid of it and am using a single-dosing bellows instead. The glue that held the bellows to the machine is lose, so it works fine, but will come off if you pull it. I never bothered to re-glue it, but you easily could. You could also replace the hopper, it is easily attachable (they are module and can be swapped in/out easily). The other thing to note is that I still am using the original burrs, so they might be getting dull (been ~5 years). Something to know long-term, but they do work great mechanically and has been cleaned regularly.
• All additional kit tools (portafilter, filters, WDT, etc) are in great condition. The only defect/damage that I can think of is on the upper part of the portfilter handle. You'll notice in the pictures that the walnut is damage from my remove the puck. This doesn't bother me at all, but the handle can be disconnected and replaced if it is an issue. Mechanically all the tools are great and the walnut is well taken care of, other than on that part of the Portafilter.

Would much prefer to sell as one package just for simplicity-sake, which is why I'm discounting the full bundle of stuff. It's treated me really well and I hope it finds a good home. ECM makes a great machine.

Reason for Selling:

Recently I've been drinking more pour over than espresso due to my schedule, and my new apartment is too small to realistically use the machine. Since I'm not really utilizing it, I've decided to sell it and buy a replacement in a few years when I have the space. As mentioned above, I thought I'd keep this forever (which is why I wanted ECM reliability), so it is well taken care of, but it just doesn't make since for my lifestyle currently.
