Neo40 for Neuropathy

HI, Stage IV "survivor" dealing with neuropathy following 12 rounds total of FOLFOXIRI that ended Mar 2025. Dealing with persistent neuropathy especially in my feet that actually seems to be getting worse (and now my left hand is acting up). I understand that neuropathy can persist for a couple years but am wondering if there is anything to help combat the side effect...and in particular if Neo40 by HumanN has proven helpful with anyone in a similar boat. My MIL was told by her oncologist to try this so I am considering. My oncologist says he has something only for the pain (and I have none) associated with neuropathy. Thanks in advance.

If it’s recommended by an oncologist it’s worth a try.

My oncologist and pcp have me on some vitamin supplements as well as a couple of medications to help with my neuropathy. These things help considerably.

The pain management guy was willing to add traditional opiate meds to the mix, but I’ve figured out that microdosing THC works without the opioid side effects.

If it works, let us know. My wife was given a compounded foot cream which contains 5 different drugs, including gabapentin, diclofenac, and a few others. They can also compound ketamine into it as well, but so far she hasn’t tried that. Her neuropathy is tolerable in the summer months, but we’re expecting it to get bad in the winter, and she’ll try the foot cream for real in the winter. Initial observations seemed to be that it helped discomfort, at least.

There really is no effective treatment. It's completely dependent on how much oxaliaplatin was infused. If something actually did when your oncologist would tell you about it.

I’ve been going to PT 3x/week for a month to address neuropathy in my feet and my neuropathy is improving a lot. Correlation does not imply causation, of course, but I figured it would not make the issue worse and I was happy to try PT before gabapentin. I have a combination of massage, desensitization, and balance exercises. I’ve gone from pain I couldn’t ignore as soon as I put my shoes on to being able to tune out the pain for a 50 minute walk.
