According to the sunnah, sleep immediately after Isya’. Wake up for tahajjud and fajr. Take a short midday nap after zuhr.

I didnt know this about the nap. Thanks for sharing. It says the “Qailulah” is considered a 20-30 minute nap. This is what Google/AI says:

“Napping for longer than 30 minutes risks interrupting deep sleep and causing sleep inertia, which is the grogginess you feel after waking from a deep sleep”

why are you taking knowledge from google ai lol

. But yes, the Qaylulah (mid day nap) is around the time range of 1-2 hrs. It is done before or after duha (forenoon time).

Im not. I didnt know this nap was sunnah. I did remember that “humans” adviced napping for like 20 minutes because this would be the best for your health, instead of napping for like a hour. Then i read this about 20-30 minutes nap being sunnah, so i thought it was interesting.

I expected this reaction tho, i think its interesting when something from 1400years ago turns out to be adviced to todays science. For you it might be obvious, for a revert (or even kuffaar) this could convince somebody more that the sunnah is the best way.

Bonjour monsieur😅

Since im from the Netherlands i have (kinda) the same times, in the summer its hard because between Isha and start of Fajr is like 4,5hour. But apart from that you should be able to get 8hour sleep easily.

Other then that i would just advice you try make the best of it. Praying Fajr at the start is best, if you cant do that try to do it before sunrise.

And its just better for you to sleep at night, so that helps haha.

in the summer, a nap can help. I usually become very sleepy at around 1pm.

It's depending more about your own life do have a work at early morning? or you are waking up late due your your work condition? or you are living in a country that has a short time between isha and fajer? can you give me more details?

Sleep between isha and fajr. Could have an issue at high latitudes.  Consult your local mosque website

Greetings from Brezelbäckereiland! Our Summers also have very elongated days and we often get up for the dawn prayer, then sleep again until it's time to prepare for work or school. When first starting to find your rhythm as a Muslim, it helps to concentrate on the mandatory prayers until they come naturally, and then add the superobligatory ones as time goes on.

don’t sleep during the prayer time
Go to bed after oshaa prayer the sooner the better. Take a nap after assr.

Thanks for pointing that out. I knew that sleeping after assr was discouraged by some scholars in the past but always thought it had to do with some authentic hadeeth. It turns out it's fine after checking from a second trustworthy source in Arabic. Thanks again for the info. 👍 Btw, they mentioned it's disliked to sleep before the isha prayer.

Sleeping between asr-isha range is disliked among the majority of the scholars because of the authentic hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari on this matter

It entirely depends on you and your comfort.
