Assalamu Alaikum, everyone.

I humbly ask for your dua. I have heard that the dua of a stranger is powerful and more likely to be accepted, is that true? Please pray that Allah guides someone very dear to me toward the truth, softens their heart, and blesses them with guidance and protection. Pray that Allah opens his heart to Islam, and makes him learn the religion and want to convert sincerely and with genuine intention. Pray that he can leave his old lifestyle behind and become a good Muslim man, and pray for me to also follow the path of Islam better. I also pray that if it is good for us both in this world and the next, Allah makes our relationship halal and full of barakah. I really do like this man and want to marry him in the next few years Inshallah, but due to cultural and religious reasons for the moment, it's difficult. If he can convert sincerely, may Allah also soften the hearts of our parents and have them bless and accept us with ease and without any reasons to reject us, especially not due to cultural differences. May Allah accept your duas and bless you all as well. I would be so grateful if you could keep us in your thoughts and repeat this dua whenever you can, it would mean so much to me because this person is very dear to me and I would want Allah to accept all our duas combined to make him my naseeb. you might need to apply some pressure yourself. If he gets the relationship without having to change his ways, then he has no reason to change his ways or improve. And if his unwillingness to change goes on for long, it will lead to corruption further down the line. Especially with raising children

The relationship should 100% come after his conversion. Connect him with your masjid and see if he follows the straight path

Yes it is true that the dua prayer of a stranger is considered very powerful and more likely to be accepted in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him mentioned that when a person prays for someone in their absence, the angels say, Ameen, and for you the same.

May Allah guide him to Islam. May Allah allow you to be united in the most beautiful way and to bring each other closer to Allah.

One advice: Work on fully trusting Allahs plan. Which can mean it’s not what you wish for in the first place but something better that you don’t know about yet.
