Chania is having a huge COVID outbreak right now. Viral load is reported to be +245%, highest in Greece. There's no daily reporting of cases from the state now as the government canceled it to not frighten tourists but the outbreak would probably reach more of Crete. Moreover the general hospital in Chania is understaffed to the point of having only 30% of needed personnel. Masks are not mandatory outside of public transport now but considering all of the above I just wanted to inform people and say that you might wanna take care of yourself and everyone around you and take measure like put on masks if possible.

Hi, I'm going on a trip to crete at the end of may and I'm wondering what the most recent covid restrictions are. Online I'm finding outdated info. I only have the first 2 vaccines but no booster. However I had covid in januari so I have a recovery certificate, but I'm not sure if it is valid for 90 days or 180. So my question is: Will I have to get tested to enter a club or archeological site? Or are all covid restrictions gone?
