Does someone know any auto mechanic in Chania? We have a problem with th car we rented

I know the ones on the road are memories of people killed in traffic accidents but I assume this one is something else since it’s on a calm street in Kissamos

Πρόσφατα αγόρασα ποδήλατο κούρσα από Κίνα. Από Ελλάδα θα κόστιζε 2000€ τουλάχιστον αλλά αντίστοιχο από Κίνα έκανε 850€.

Πήγα για επισκευή στο Antonis Bikes Κισσάμου και ο Αντώνης ήταν όλο ειρωνεία για το πόσο κακό είναι το ποδήλατο και πόσο χάλια είναι να επισκευάζεις «φτηνιάρικα» ποδήλατα. Δεν ασχολήθηκα αλλά στο τέλος με υπερχρέωσε κιόλας...

Ξέρω από ποδήλατα αρκετά για να καταλάβω πως μου έλεγε βλακείες. Δεν με ενοχλεί αν ένας μάστορας βγάζει κόμπλεξ του στα λόγια, αρκεί να κάνει την δουλειά του. Αλλά αισθάνομαι ότι αυτός με χρέωσε υπερβολικά πολλά λεφτά επειδή είδε ότι είμαι γυναίκα.

Ξέρετε να προτείνετε κάποιο ποδηλατάδικο που πιστεύετε πως θα είναι πιο κομπλέ;

Καλησπέρα σας! Γνωρίζει κάποιος να μου πει που θα φάμε καλά και οικονομικά στο Ρέθυμνο συγκεκριμένα ψαροταβέρνα. Ας είναι και λίγο ποιο έξω από το Ρέθυμνο δεν μας πειράζει. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

I know there’s a good one in Chania in the centre but unfortunately we’re driving from the airport and not going into town.

Hi guys, I’m staying in student accommodation in Chania. Since the start of the summer, an older kitten (approx 1 year old) has taken a liking to me. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to bring him back to my home country, and the airline also doesn’t accept animals.

Would anyone be willing to take him? He is a cutie pie, playful, affectionate and always greets me with a chirp. I just want him to have a nice life with someone who will spoil him! I leave Chania permanently on Sept. 1st, if transport is an issue I can bring him to you. Efcharisto 💕

Do you have any advice for me-- primarily for making friends and exploring Heraklion/Crete? I'm very social, active, and enjoy traveling. I love to workout (lifting, running, cycling), scuba dive, listen to music, and eat (currently vegetarian but will be flexible while traveling). I also like to go out and drink with friends.

So I just had a really weird taxi experience in Crete. The ride was about 17 miles, and the driver told me it would be €55. I paid him exactly that, but then he suddenly demanded €60. When I refused to hand over the extra €5, he got pissed and actually kicked me out of the car.

Is this normal practice here, or did I just run into a scammy driver?
