Given that giant corps like Disney, etc. keep doubling down on this ideology even when it costs them millions, I think it's clear these companies are legitimately infiltrated by True Believers (regardless of whatever the reason was for putting them into positions of power/creating new departments and initiatives for them in the first place).

Calling them Woke is accurate, the entire thing is about signaling/supporting the "right thing," regardless of the motivation.

And regardless if we're talking about individuals or corps, it's usually for selfish reasons.

Wtf are you even trying to say ?

Disney is doubling down on this "ideology" ???

They purposefully sank one of their most recent movies because it featured maybe 30 seconds where it was implied one of the male main character was dating a guy.

What's happening is that creators, artists, writers, they want to explore these new themes, or not even put them in the foreground, just have them exist somehow since they're part of our world. However the executives, the ones who make the decisions, the ones this post is talking about, they're absolutely not supporting these causes, since they sank the movie.

The problem with virtue signaling is that, in the long run, it may drive support away from an otherwise just cause.

Public support of LGBTQ is (at least in my opinion) a good cause, but making it shallow, corporate and ostracizing moderate supporters in favor of loud ones and late supporters, that’s often not a good idea.

If they have been “infiltrated” by “true believers”, then good. The LGBT community is valid and deserves support, and anyone who preaches against “wokeism” is bigoted.

Don’t think there’s much room for grey when talking about support for gay rights. If you preach against companies supporting it, how are you not bigoted

anything other than a black and white worldview is too complicated to think about for some people

You are a sleepy sheep. Fighting against the reality of discrimination and hiding in your own fantasy world. Being 'Woke' means believing that there is injustice in our society whether it be towards women, LGBTQ+, or ethnicities other than white.

Corporations pandering with rainbows, and support of the LGBTQ+ community is great regardless of intention because it continues to make people like you upset and uncomfortable. The more you're uncomfortable the more you'll realize this shit isn't going anywhere, the LGBTQ+ community isn't going anywhere.

I am on my knees begging you weirdos to actually decide what you think “woke” means because none of you define it in the same way.
