From the tone of your message, it feels like you don't consider this a threat... It all happens one step at a time. If we don't stop it now, they will take the next step, which will result in even less privacy.
I wont deny that microsoft is known to be invasive, but this change and how it is supposed to function (we dont know everything jet, cause it was only announced) would not be monitored by microsoft.
However if these information would get processed und used by microsoft servers, then this would be another story, but currently everyone is screaming without even knowing what this feature really does.
