Particularly with some Japanese artists I know they'll use hosting websites which turn off the right click function, so you can't save images directly. They'll also have various hurdles to make it more difficult to see the art in general if you don't want to jump through hoops.

Of course, you can get past all these pretty easily if you have basic computer literacy and want to, but it is mostly to keep bots from scraping them.

Friend taught me a neat trick the other day to get around images that don't let you right click. It's fun having a tech expert for a friend.

You literally just google "enable right click extension", it doesn't require a tech expert, just basic knowledge of what Google is.
