You understand veganism has nothing to do with personal health, right?

They don't really care about what they're eating as long as an animal wasn't harmed or farmed for it.

They know the food is full of substitutes, that's the point.

Some go organic vegan for health reasons, but that just means it's not modified with "scary chemicals", it's just like carrots from the garden and shit like that.

Exactly. I stopped eating meat, because I just couldn’t consciously eat it anymore. That was eight years ago. I’m not an activist, or anything. Just my own personal beliefs, I didn’t even tell my friends, family, or colleagues initially. I let them figure it out eventually.

I lost a lot of weight, I didn’t even consider that happening. But people often ask; “what’s your favourite meat substitute?

Errr, potatoes, squash, mushrooms. I (like many) am not really big into meat substitutes, those are just an odd treat for a burger, or pizza topping.
