You can do that, but depending on the discussion, those guys will get banned and you won't see their opinion every again. It slowly cuts them out.

I didn't know until recently that you could get banned, but the mods could just leave your comment up to get dogpiled. You didn't break a rule, or it would have been deleted. The mods just don't like your opinion.

Can confirm, one of the subs I follow has a notoriously heinous individual that's even too much for that collection of nutjobs. Once a year the mods unban him like some weird tradition and he holds an AMA where he gets to spew all his wild takes. Then inevitably the mods pull the plug at some point cause it becomes too much.

Yes I consider myself a nutjob too.

It is okay not to be the best. If you can find happiness where you are, it is okay to stay there.
