No? June is about supporting and celebrating both those who are LGBTQ as well as men. There is such a thing as a celebrating several things at once. Also, please refrain from calling people who are trying to be themselves "Rainbow Nazis" you insufferable bigot
The rainbow Nazi term was absurd and stupid but let's be real, as long as June is pride month it will never be anything more than that. It's very commercially viable and there are tons of activists who really promote it so it's become a huge deal. If you're forced to share a month with pride month you really don't have a month. You'll never get 1% of the coverage pride month gets. Maybe the current administration changes that somehow as they seem hellbent on doing so, but we'd be better off changing men's mental health to literally any other month.
I know several people around me who have celebrated Men's Mental Health Month. I know it will never get as much "coverage" but it is still celebrated and known
You're the extreme exception then. June is pride month 99.9% of the time. I have no issues with that, it's just unfortunate that an issue I think is very important also picked June. No corporation or organization will ever spend anywhere near the amount of time on men's mental health as they do pride month. Even if they tried the outcry would be huge.
People say this, but it's rare that something positive is actually tried in relation to men's health, by companies or otherwise, to even be hit by backlash.
I don't celebrate pride, and despite falling in with the LGBTQ crowd, I forget that pride month is even a thing. Even then, it's understandable that a subject that's colorful is going to be easier to capitalize on than a mental health one.
