From more of an outsider perspective, I'd say there is some excitement when one celebrity is in a relationship with another, it's like a crossover episode. But the running joke with Taylor swift is that she writes so many breakup songs and has so many failed previous relationships, that her getting married seems surprising. Whether the whole failed relationships thing is actually true or not is not my ballpark, though if she's happy with the relationship then I'm happy for her.
