The pay gap in sports is super easy to explain I dont even understand how its an ongoing conversation. Professional sports and the players of those sports are paid millions of dollars because it SELLS if people aren't watching women's sports for whatever reason they may have its simply not selling nearly as much hence why they get paid less, its not real rocket science

Its even easier to understand when you learn that the WNBA loses the NBA money every year and that the WNBA players are paid a larger percentage than NBA players when you look at revenue generated

And I think it is a higher percentage of dudes actually watching it. So woman only have themselves to blame

Yeah. I know the WNBA players are great athletes in their own right, but the NBA is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of how big it is. In elementary, I never watched sports at all, but I could still name the big players like Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, etc.

Like, the pay gap makes sense, because the WNBA is the equivalent of being the unknown family member of a world leader or big celebrity.
