I think women's sports shouldn't only be "men's sports but with women." I get that idea, we all like the games, but at the same I feel like certain sports are clearly designed with male players in mind. Just a thought I have whenever I see this debate.

Plus the marketing is just not as good. The team merch is never that good or available, the team identity is weak. In being the same sport it invites comparison as well.

Women’s lacrosse is like this, the game at its core is just about the same but there are VERY different rules than men’s lacrosse to the point where it is almost a different game entirely
