Which young people are having less of because everyone in their early 20s is too poor to move out of their parents' house and 25% of men are addicted to video games and gooning instead of talking to women.
I saw a stat the other day that in America, men have a 1 in 5 chance of being reported to someone for interacting with women. That is a 20% chance of getting in trouble, either by work or authority for being near a woman and trying to talk.
Fuck those odds, there is a 0% chance playing computer games, the people aren't stupid.
You can befriend women at places other than your job. If that stat is even accurate. I've been in the workforce about 10 years and I've not seen anyone get in trouble unless they're being a creep and even then most of the creeps get away with it. Still I don't usually try to date coworkers myself because it's still a thing in the back of my head, but yeah that's why you have friends outside of work.
Even saying hello to coworkers as I come and go from my car in the carpark is avoided - I might think it is friendly to say good morning or goodbye, but the women might think it is me trying to start something, and if they think that and mention it to a boss, then that boss mentioned it to my boss... Bad gas travels fast and I don't need or want that hassle.
