not if you give them details on how the source is in the wrong, also if they don't defend your arguments against the source then they are essentially admiting that whoever wrote the source has no idea what he is talking about.

Well there's plenty of people out there that will look at a perfectly legitimate and factually correct source and say that it's wrong because it goes against their personal beliefs or they get their info from an actual bad source.
