I thought I read Reddit was valued around at $8bn. Maybe they were talking in Zimbabwean $$. Cause the video loading system, the volunteer mods, admin hiring process, and these constant crashes definitely doesn't give the feel of a multi billion $$ enterprise.

The things it does are shitty, but it does them well.

Well, their video player is worse than Reddit in my opinion, but to their credit, it's done on purpose.

I’d wager to keep you watching. I count count how many times i wanted to watch a video and watch ended up spending 30 minutes watching of bs videos

Ahh okay, that makes sense. I haven’t been on Facebook I’m really long time and when I was on it I don’t even remember them having a video player.
