It's why I switched to fighting games. The community can still be shit but you can play the game without having to talk or hear people.

Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball FighterZ are both extremely good. ArcSys always delivers solid fighting games. Also the new JoJo game has been really fun so far.
