Speeding motorbike slams into a car turning into a side street

Motorbike that is speeding ends up slamming into the side of a car that is turning. It looks like the motorbike was also trying to turn and thought he could get squeeze next to the car through the corner. Passenger received minor injuries, driver didn't end up making it.

The fact he walked away was probably shock. They were hit hard.

The passenger walked away, the rider died.

Right, ok wrong order, but my opinion still stands that the passenger walked away in shock. It is terrible that the driver died, however I see the careless driving on bikes often. Really tragic though.

I ride, drive, and fly. People don't realise how close they are to death in all 3, and not just because of their own actions.

I almost never speed on my bike.

Oh I agree. When I was younger I had motorcycles, loved them, but I took a course with my husband at Centennial College so I would have the skills and the safety to operate the bike properly. Worth every penny.

The rider was moving and starting to get up when the video ended.

Fight or flight response with surge of adrenaline. You want to see the biker involved in accident to be moving. That is usually a good sign that their injury is bad but likely not fatal. You are also seeing the counter example.

You can just say adrenaline. “Shock” doesn’t mean much medically in this context
