OC [OC] The cascading file folders naturally became a galaxy

When using the file visualization graph view, the files from this subset naturally form a two-arm galaxy. Data source shown in following images. Tools used: obsidian MD

A folder structure with symlinks?

Probably a bot.

I don't know what a symlink is but I did all this manually

Are there tons of symlinks in this or why is the folder structure not just a tree?

In a file system, every folder has only one parent folder. In the graph there are some nodes that have both multiple incoming arrows and multiple outgoing arrows. It is therefore unclear what an arrow in the graph means. Is there a ”parent folder” arrow? If so, why do some have multiple such arrows?

So each of the nodes in the graph are files, and the links between them indicate references using internalized hyperlinks. If one file has an arrow pointing toward a different node, it means that the first file has an internal hyperlink linking to the second node. Because these are files, not folders, almost all of them that have anything in them reference other files through internal hyperlinks, while also being referenced. This results in nudes having arrows going in and out, possibly even between two nodes. Ignoring that, the folders are cascading, so while they don't appear on the graph, there are actually multiple folders inside of each other, if that's what you mean by parents. There are no arrows for parent folders, as the graph doesn't have any folders at all

Maybe the universe is just gods operating system and we are just the files.

Love the lore structure, what are you trying to do with it?

I want to create a cohesive cosmology and power system, and then from there see what world can organically spiral for from the lore. I'm attempting to write a story with it
