Which spinoff are you looking forward to seeing the most 😎🤘🏻✌🏻

Jimmy Olsen comics are insane so I really hope they translate that well. If they're doing a Mr. Terrific show they could introduce the Justice Society of America who are some of my favorite heroes!

There's a legitimate chance Darkseid will debut in the Jimmy Olsen show

Big Barda falling for Jimmy would be a good excuse for such an appearance.

I hope he debuts in Mister Miracle, especially after reading Tom King's run recently.

He originally debuted in jimmy Olsen which is why it would be fun if they did that again

I wonder if they'll have the same actors from Black Adam or a completely different cast

I really liked Fate in that movie, but I hope they do the first Atom Smasher this time. Also, if they're doing more Giy Gardener we might see Warrior!

u/BohemiaDrinker 3d ago
There's only one Atom Smasher. The "original" mentioned in Black Adam's movie wasthe original "Atom" in the comics and had no powers. I think that movie just went the simplest route possible

all the love to other superheroes but i just want an office style daily planet show

I genuinely love stories that show the mundane day to day life living in a fantastical setting.
"Hey boss, can I get a MH-229 form for my expense report? Giganta stepped on my damn car and I gotta take the bus to work while insurance deals with it. "

yesss you get it! i feel like the mundane is much more effective worldbuilding than big and momentous stories, since you get to see how characters interact with the world they live in and what's normal vs abnormal esp in a setting where a lot of things are normal that would be insane irl. we got to see just a little bit of that in the movie and i need so much more

I’d love a Jimmy Olsen show where they introduce Darkseid like in the old days (shout out to the King)

It would be hilarious and sad if DC gave Kirby his deserved due in a way Marvel hasn’t.

Where is this even coming from? Like, who heard what convos and how? I genuinely don’t know how someone could be aware of “talks” happening

I told my wife during the movie that they needed to make a Mr Terrific series.

I like mr terrific in Superman movie so yeah he deserves his spinoff as for jimmy olsen I don't about it that it's good idea to give him his own spinoff
2
u/BohemiaDrinker 3d ago
If they do TV shows, I'm hoping for shorter seasons, like 4 or 5 episodes each, so it doesn't feel like we have to do homework to follow the universe.
I absolutely need more Mr. T, though.

Cosmic Book News is a clickbait fake news site, y’all. Same category of bullshitters as We Got This Covered.

"The Terrifics" could be a really fun adaptation, depending on what they have planned for the Justice Gang Society League

I’m very excited about that Jimmy Olsen show
They better introduce Darkseid in it

u/noonehasthisoneyet 3d ago
instead of having kumail play booster, get him for plastic man and you have 3 of the 4 terrifics. that would be a cool mr. terrific spinoff.

I need Jimmy, Lois, and Clarke spin off. No Superman. Just Metropolis investigative journalism

I don't like this. DCEU had echoes of this in the early days as well, the shear number of potential projects. I'd rather it not be a go with the flow type of franchise

u/Derrick_Mur Superman 3d ago
I’m not too worries about it. Gunn has already cancelled projects that they couldn’t make work in the writer’s room, so if they can’t make these properties work they’ll can them

They’re gonna milk this thing to death before it even gets running.
That Superman movie was absolutely the fuck mid for all of this internet hype.

u/MoarBuilds 3d ago
Already getting unnecessary shows like the MCU is doing?

u/BobbaGanush87 3d ago
I really loved Superman but I was hoping the industry learned not to pump out a shit ton of uninspired content.

Every time I watch the movie I’m surprised just how much I enjoy Jimmy and Eve’s scenes. I don’t know if they can sustain a spinoff, but I’d be happy to give them a chance.
