DC Universe If The Authority does get cancelled I’d like The Engineer to become a Blue Beetle villain

I do think she’s gonna turn eventually though, so maybe she could join Jaime in this potential blue beetle sequel movie

Blue Beetle is getting an animated series I believe.

I think so! They announced it a while back, but we haven’t heard anything about it in a while 🤷‍♂️

“If the Authority does get cancelled”

I just realised how low quality my blue beetle photo was

I feel like Engineer could get a redemption arc at some point. She already was questioning some of what Lex was doing, and in interviews Maria has said that she fundamentally wants to help people. "She was teaming up with the wrong person, but for the right reasons." Plus, after all, the Engineer is a hero in the comics.

I did mention that, I think she’s gonna be redeemed too fr

I felt like Gunn subtly planted the seeds for an Engineer redemption in Superman.

I doubt the authority will get canceled but might be reworked into series and or could appear in another DCU project first then go form their

I feel like her powers are too close in function to his, it’ll come off a little redundant

It worked in the first movie, besides I don’t think she should be a main villain

You don’t see how doing a very familiar power for the villain in two movies in a row could feel stale?

I do, but I also trust that the filmmakers can make a good film with these characters without it feeling “stale”

Her becoming friends with BB would kinda be great. Especially if they complain to each other in spanish.

I didn’t even think of that! I’d love that!

I just don't want it cancelled because it was stated that the authority are going to be the boys of DCU which I like the idea that majority of them are anti villains not completely good guys because whenever they make any fantastical character movie they always show them as good guys this thing change in Hollywood movie's like clayface, deathstroke & bane and the authority needs to be suceed to change people's mind that even villains could get good movies it's just needed good script, good visuals and proper writers to make villains movies successful

I don’t want it cancelled either

I feel like it should be a show because it had soo many cool characters like apollo, midnighter and engineer that deserves their own time to shine plus I would like to see engineer and other authority members more in future it's just needed a series and if James got any plan for them in future to make it a movie then make it in live action but please I pray that it just didn't cancelled

This isn’t me saying I don’t want an Authority project by the way, this is me saying I want the engineer to stay if it gets cancelled

Honestly, I just don't want to see that version of the character again.

Too similar imo, I want different powersets between villains and heroes

Nobody liked The Engineer! Also, Wildstorm stuff doesn't work with the rest of the DC Universe. Let it be its own world!

I think her powers are super interesting the actress did a really good job I was thinking where she could show up next I think post Superman she might not be aligned with lex because of how things ended in Superman I could see her being a Mr terrific villain as well.
