Homemade A quick note about botspam.
Hi, dessert lovers!
We're currently being spammed by a very specific bot type, so it'd help if users can recognize them as bots as well. Check out the post history of new submissions to this sub to see if they meet the following criteria:
-Username is a "name-name-number" randomly generated name (this isn't always the case, so please check regardless, several accounts with legitimate seeming names follow the exact same criteria below).
-Account was created this year, but has generally been inactive up till now.
-Posts to random subreddits extremely quickly (4 posts in a matter of minutes).
-Comments on r/askreddit as "replies", they're stealing comments from previous redditors to do so.
This has been happening across a few other subs in the past couple of days. Whomever created these bots has had them "wake up", and they're now spamming their content across multiple subs to gain karma. Report them as you see them, and we'll do our best to keep removing them!
You can also report the accounts directly by going to their profile, hitting the "report button", selecting "spam", then choosing "disruptive use of AI or bots".

Restaurant YOLK : Egg Tart
This is a vanilla crème brûlée egg tart. The vanilla custard at the bottom is wonderfully fragrant, while the egg tart itself is not overly sweet. The outer pastry is crispy, with a croissant-like texture and a rich buttery aroma.

Question I need help recreating a pie
This is a little strange, but I had a dream with the most delightful pie, it was in a Parisian cafe and served with a cappuccino dusted with cinnamon, as while I’m not the best baker I’m determined to recreate it.
The pie had a light crumbly crust like a shortbread or butter cookie.
The filling of the pie consisted of bottom quarter inch which was covered in what seemed to be a sweet honeydew jam, while the rest was filled with a light airy yet firm substance that seemed halfway between a custard and a meringue, white in color with a mild flavor that can only be described as subtly sweet, within this filling were flecks of finely chopped mint that gave it a bright and fresh flavor unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
If anyone experienced in baking could help me recreate this dessert I’d be very thankful, I know it was just a dream, but I’m certain it can be made real.
Thank you.
