Disc Advice Need Replacement Recs for Lat 64’s FURY

Post image

The Fury has been a staple in my wife’s bag her entire disc golf career. Now that it’s out of production, we’re trying to find something to replace it with. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that any other discs has these flight numbers. What disc would you use in place of the Fury? Thanks for your help with this!

The Inertia definitely has close numbers. Would the Undertaker be too OS? Which plastic is the most glidey?

The inertia you can get a light weight plasma that wouldn't be domey but does love to glide. The undertaker i would at the regular z plastic with a pinch of dome. Lighter weight if you want a little more flip and glide. Stay away from titanium.

She throws 170g, so light weight isn’t an issue.

Different weights are benefits. It makes the same disc react differently. You want similar disc mold by a different company or do you want a gram for gram clone? Opening up to different weights will help you find the right disc. Don't throw a "similar" disc just because it's also 170.

Both of us are of the same mind when it comes to weight. We prefer all our discs to be around the same weight so there is consistency in our form. I find that if you go too light you’re constantly adjusting your throw and it doesn’t feel natural.
