Diagnosed with grade 1 endometrial cancer.

Diagnosed on 8/1. I had an ultrasound yesterday that shows a tumor in the uterus and a 36mm endometrial lining. According to the doctor 36mm is way abnormal. CT scan in scheduled for 8/28. I am curious what others experienced with the CT scan? Did it show more than the ultrasound? How thick was your lining? Sorry for all the questions. I am just trying to wrap my mind around all of this.

Right after biopsy results, the gynecologist ordered a CT scan which I had done right before I got my appointment with the gyn. Oncologist. I remember saying, I guess you don’t have those CT results yet, but he didn’t seem concerned because he said he wouldn’t have ordered a CT anyway. Nevertheless, for me when I saw my CT results on mychart, it was reassuring that the only thing noted was the endometrial abnormality- I don’t remember how large it was. I’m glad you are booked to have this taken care of- good luck and good recovery :).
