2 week post op appointment

My post op visit is coming up Thursday. I’m wondering what questions to ask. I know I will get the pathology report so that will be a lot of information. I’m grade 1 so hoping for stage 1a or b. I think I want to ask about when I can do pelvic floor and abdominal exercises so I can have the best recovery possible from the hysterectomy. Just checking for things I haven’t thought of. TIA

Highly recommend you take a look at the NCCN patient reference guide (url below). These are evidence-based guidelines and protocols that many oncologists and cancer centers use.   I saw two oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists and all referenced these guidelines when they provided me with a treatment plan.  Obviously each person is different and the treatment decisions may look different than what’s described but I found it to be helpful so I knew if I was receiving good advice.

Beginning on page 65, there are some great question suggestions:  https://www.nccn.org/patients/guidelines/content/PDF/uterine-patient.pdf

My 2 week post op apt. is tomorrow. I already read my pathology report online. Went from grade 1 to grade 2. The cancer spread to my lymph nodes, so I'm expecting it will be staged at III C1.

Some of my questions (pardon my choice of words as there is so much new terminology I need to learn and my questions could be off-base so hopefully some experienced folks chime in):

Will I need more imaging, CT? PET/CT? MRI? Molecular testing?

possible treatments: chemo with what meds & how long, radiation, brachytherapy, hormonal therapy?

Will I need a medical and/or radiation oncologist or will my gyn oncologist manage this

Start using estradiol again? or not?
