Consequences of lending ID

Throwaway account.

I was in Prague, and to enter a nightclub, I lent my ID to an underage friend. The problem is that the bouncers kept it and gave it to the police, and they scanned the back of it using an app they have. They let my friend and I go, only with a warning, informing us that if it were repeated, it would be a minor offense that could land us in jail, etc.

My concern is, does this leave any kind of criminal record? Would I have problems entering other countries in the future? In general, what are the consequences of having your ID scanned after lending it?

Disclaimer, I don't know anything about the Czech system. But... You did not get charged with anything. A criminal record generally only occurs when you get charged with something/or accept a ticket for a criminal offense etc.

I don't think there's anything to worry about.

The police probably scanned it to have it on file, and would recognize if you do it again. But I don't think there are any immediate consequences and you should not have trouble entering other countries.

Scanning the ID allows to know whether there are any BOLOs in the SIS II and national system. If it was handed back to you, it's safe to assume that it wasn't registered as a stolen ID.
